Building Teamwork: After-School Sports
We encourage all students in Grades 6 through 8 to participate in our after-school sports program. All students who sign up to play are kept on a team and may participate in multiple sports during the same season. Our goal is to give each student a chance to play, cultivate good sportsmanship, and become team players.
After-School Sports Teams
Middle School students compete on seven interscholastic sports teams. Practices are built into the school day and games take place after school. Best of all? Everyone gets a chance to play.
Athletics Facilities
Santa Catalina's Bedford Family Athletic Complex includes a full gym, six outdoor tennis courts, an all-weather running track, and a playing field. The Aquatic Center includes a competition-sized pool with 10 swimming lanes and three one-meter diving boards.
Middle School students are also able to make use of the new Cougar Conditioning Center, which features a full suite of equipment—including machines powered by air resistance—to deliver a full body workout. In addition to the main workout space, students can take advantage of a pliability room for group exercise.
