Visiting Campus
We love when alumnae visit campus! Visits are by appointment only. Email the Development Office to request a time.
Each new class of graduates joins an incredible network of more than 5,000 alumnae worldwide—alumnae who are passionate, creative, confident, and always eager to support other Catalina women.

Catalina alumnae look forward to returning to campus every five years to reconnect with classmates and teachers and to get a glimpse of Catalina today. The next Reunion takes place March 21–23, 2025. Visit the Reunion event page for details.

Casual chapter gatherings allow alumnae who live in the same geographic region to connect with each other. Past events have included brunch, wine tasting, and a museum tour.

Request to get married in the Rosary Chapel
As a Catholic chapel within the Diocese of Monterey, and under the auspices of San Carlos Cathedral, Santa Catalina School has been granted permission to host Roman Catholic weddings for alumnae. The privilege of using the Rosary Chapel does not extend to relatives or other members of one’s immediate family. Only weddings within the Roman Catholic rite, wherein one party (either the bride or the groom) is baptized Catholic, are permitted.
Santa Catalina’s Rosary Chapel is not a parish. The couple is responsible for obtaining a priest or deacon for the ceremony and for the required marriage preparation. The Diocese of Monterey requires that the pastor of the parish where the bride or groom worships and is registered write a letter to the pastor of San Carlos Cathedral granting permission for that individual to marry away from the parish. A copy of the letter should be sent to Santa Catalina School.
Reservations
To make a reservation, please call 831.402.4126. The Rosary Chapel is available for weddings on Saturdays only. Floral deliveries and music setup are the responsibility of the wedding party. Consultation with Santa Catalina School’s sacristan, in terms of what is permissible in the Rosary Chapel, is required well in advance of the wedding.
Reservation Fee
The reservation fee to schedule the Rosary Chapel for your marriage ceremony is $1,000. This fee is due in full within 10 days of putting a date on hold. It does not include a processing fee of $300 to San Carlos Cathedral, nor a customary stipend of $200 for the presider on the day of the wedding. Fees for marriage preparation courses, third party vendors (florists, photographers, etc.), and music for the ceremony, along with event insurance, is the responsibility of the couple. Santa Catalina School will refund the reservation fee if a request is made no less than three months prior to the original scheduled reservation.
Join Catalina Alumnae on Facebook
The Santa Catalina Alumnae Business and Social Network is a private Facebook group that encourages alumnae to network for business and social purposes. The group is great for:
- Sharing job openings or internship opportunities where you work and volunteer.
- If you're new to an area, tapping into the Catalina network to help with your transition.
- Connecting with friends by posting questions, announcing events or gatherings, and sharing photos for/of alumnae of Santa Catalina School.

Admission Ambassadors
Alumnae ambassadors work with the Admission Office to represent Santa Catalina in their local areas at feeder schools and admission fairs, and with educational consultants. We also connect them with prospective families who would like to gain an alumna's perspective on the school.
Admission Receptions
Admission receptions are planned throughout California and the western states. Each event provides an excellent opportunity to connect prospective students and families with our admission staff. Alumnae work with the Admission Office to extend invitations and provide support to the event host.
Alumnae Chapters
The chapters serve as a regional way for alumnae to connect with each other through their shared experience of having attended Santa Catalina School. Each chapter is served by a chair or co-chairs. Chapter chairs reach out to alumnae for gatherings and networking purposes. To volunteer, contact the chapter chair in your area.
Alumnae Council
The Alumnae Council is the active leadership body of the Alumnae Association, representing alumnae from each decade since 1950. The council consists of an Executive Committee and members.
Class Agents
Class Agents perform a vital role by keeping classmates connected to school. They promote the importance of annual giving and lead by example with their own gifts to the Santa Catalina Fund.
Class Correspondents
Class Correspondents are the hub of communication for graduating classes. They contact classmates once a year to gather life updates to be published in Class Notes in the Bulletin.
Reunion Ambassadors
Reunion Ambassadors work with the Alumnae Relations office to plan and implement imaginative and memorable Reunion weekend events and activities for their class. Ambassadors encourage classmates to attend, plan an off-campus gathering for one or both evenings of Reunion, help communicate important information, and encourage classmates to give to the Santa Catalina Fund in honor of their reunion.
Young Alumnae Committee
Members of this committee advise on events and provide feedback geared toward alumnae who have graduated in the past 10 years. They meet semi-regularly via Zoom.
