Santa Catalina Lower and Middle School's After-School Enrichment Program includes a variety of activities, including partnerships with local organizations. Students build practical skills, gain confidence, and explore their interests while having fun in safe, supportive environments.

Enrichment classes and after-school care are offered for an extra fee, and include snack and recess time.

Enrichment Classes

Enrichment classes occur from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Classes are offered for each grade and span a range of interests from drama to art to STEM. Three after-school enrichment sessions are offered throughout the year, in fall, winter, and spring, giving students a chance to explore different interests or to dive deep on their passions. Classes have included:

 

After-School Care

Our After-School Enrichment Program provides after-school care and homework help through Study Buddies (PreK–Grade 3) and CASL (Catalina After-School Library, Grades 4–8). After-school care begins at the conclusion of class, from 3:20 to 5:30 p.m. If students do not have homework, they may play learning-centered games, draw, read, and more. These options are offered Monday–Friday. Drop-in care is also available.
