Three athletes are college-bound in track, rugby, and volleyball

Three Santa Catalina School athletes are going on to compete in college this fall.

Juliette Kosmont ’23 will be competing in track and field for Yale University. As a sophomore, Juliette won the CCS silver medal in the 100 meters. In her junior year, she was the CCS champion in the 100m, the silver medalist in the 200m, a state qualifier in both events, and a state finalist in the 100m. As a senior, she claimed the CCS silver medal in the 100m and went on to compete at state. She also holds the school record in the 100m at 11.95 seconds.

Tarn Reilly ’23 is joining Brown University’s rugby team. Tarn has played for the Pleasanton Lady Cavaliers since her freshman year. She was the starting scrum-half for three years, captain for three years, and helped lead her team to become the high school sevens national champions in 2021. At Catalina, Tarn was a multi-sport athlete, competing in field hockey, track, and soccer.

Anna Yeh ’23 will be playing volleyball at Bowdoin University. In her decorated high school career she has been named Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All League, and Most Valuable Player. She is the school’s career ace leader and is in the top 5 for career digs, and holds the school record for most aces in a match, with 14. She also has an A rating through the California Beach Volleyball Association.
