Santa Catalina School students were introduced to more than 50 clubs during the annual Club Fair on September 12.
Sullivan Court was ringed with tables staffed by club heads, who enticed would-be members with posters, snacks, and a good sales pitch. Nearly 20 new clubs were represented, including clubs built around service, hobbies, academics, and culture. Focuses include knitting, Latin language, cars, D&D, creative writing, Latin dance, K-pop, and Ukrainian culture. Several new clubs are connected to outside organizations, such as Girls Who Code, the Patriot Fund, the National Children’s Cancer Society, and Amnesty International.
Along with Catalina’s long list of established clubs, these groups make it easy to try new things and give students plenty of opportunities for leadership roles.
